Harsco Corporation respects your privacy. When you browse our website, you do so anonymously. Information collected by our server regarding visits to our site, the pages viewed, average time spent, number of visitors per day, etc. is used in aggregate to monitor our site’s performance and make improvements in its content and navigation. None of this information identifies you as an individual.

Personal contact information you enter in the Information Request section, such as your name, address, phone number and e-mail address, enables us to respond to your inquiry. We do not otherwise rent, sell, nor share your personal contact information with any other company or organization, except if required to do so by law or if disclosure is necessary to protect personal or public safety or property.
 
Safe Harbor Participation 
Harsco Corporation (“Harsco”) recognizes that the European Union (“EU”) has an "omnibus" data protection regime established pursuant to the European Data Protection Directive (95/46/EC) (the “Directive”).  Among other things, the Directive generally requires “adequate protection” for the transfer of personally identifiable information about Harsco employees in the European Union (“EU Employee Data”) and individual contacts of Harsco third party service providers, customers, suppliers and vendors in the European Union (collectively, “Third Party Contact Data”) to Harsco operations in the United States. Harsco accordingly adheres to the requirements of the US/EU Safe Harbor Privacy Principles published by the US Department of Commerce (“Safe Harbor”) with respect to EU Employee Data and Third Party Contact Data received in the United States from Harsco affiliated companies in the EU. Harsco provides European employees with information regarding the transfers of EU Employee Data that are covered by Safe Harbor via internal policies and procedures.
 
In accordance with the Safe Harbor, Harsco may receive or have access to Third Party Contact Data, including name, date of birth, work contact details (including work telephone, fax, e-mail and address), home address (for independent consultants only), title, job responsibilities, résumé and related background information, and bank account or payment information.  Harsco may collect, process and disclose Third Party Contact Data to carry out finance and accounting related activities (e.g., invoice processing or wire transfers), to manage the customer relationship, to obtain and manage consulting services, to provide IT support and system administration, to conduct background checks (in accordance with applicable law) and other compliance related activities, and for contracting, sales, project management, recruitment management, contact management, tax, and other legitimate business purposes.
 
Harsco maintains reasonable security measures to safeguard Third Party Contact Data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.   Harsco also maintains reasonable procedures to help ensure that such Third Party Contact  Data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and current. Harsco may engage third parties to provide background check services (in accordance with applicable law), and storage and other processing services, including IT support (e.g., software application, development, and maintenance). Such third parties will be required to treat Third Party Contact  Data solely in accordance with Harsco’s instructions, and to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security and confidentiality of such Third Party Contact  Data.  In addition, regardless of any other provisions in this Privacy Policy, Harsco may disclose or otherwise process Third Party Contact Data in the context of any sale or transaction involving all or a portion of the business, or as may be required or permitted by law and/or the Safe Harbor.
