Gender Equality Reports

The French Law loi Avenir professionnel, Future Career Law, indicates all French companies with a minimum of 50 employees have the obligation to measure the overall gender wage gap. The wage gap needs to be measured using the Professional Equality Index and published yearly (according to the work code. art. L. 1142-8 ; law 2018-771 from September 5, 2018). This index is composed of four to five indicators according to the company headcount, five indicators for companies of over 250 employees and four for companies of 50 to 250 employees.

For indicators one, two and three to be valid, the available groups must represent at least 40 percent of the entire headcount.
